When the jumpers drop from 12,000+ feet, it is almost impossible to make
out individuals. I am sure these guys are really talented, but it was hard
to see the formations they were making without zooming in a great deal.
The side effect of course means without a tripod, it is difficult to get
a steady shot, and if you do get a shot, it is pretty grainy.
The first shot below is what it looked like normally. The next two shots
zoom in closer and closer. Finally, the last two shots show the jumpers
after they pop their chutes and separate. Note the camcorder time; the frames
are only seconds apart, with the whole series being just over a minute long.
It wasn't much longer before they were on the ground.
